We in Morocco are very concerned about you and all our brothers and sisters in the Rhineland who have been affected by this terrible flooding. Some of you may know that I almost died in a flash flood in 1997 in Morocco, and when I saw the images, I was filled with emotion, not wanting you to have to suffer such loss. Our entire church will be praying for you as you begin to recover. Please let us know if there is any other way that we can help. And please assure us that you are okay,
May the power of the resurrection fill you all as you seek to help bring new life out of destruction. And may Christ be your strength and your hope.
Aus Griechenland kommt folgende Botschaft:
Over the last few days we have been hearing the news about the flood in Northwest European countries, especially in Germany, but only gradually did we realize the immensity of the disaster. We are very sorry for the loss of hundreds of human lives, for thousands of people who are left with no home or basic facilities. Is Moenchengladbach one of the most hit areas? We hope you are safe. On behalf of the Board of Perichoresis I express to you and your colleagues in WCRC EUROPE and the Church of Gladbach-Neuss our deepest sympathy for the catastrophe. We pray that our Lord may have mercy on the areas that were hit and grant quick recovery!
In deepest sympathy
Dr. Paris Papageorgiou
Chairman Bod Perichoresis
